Join Us for an Informational Meeting on the
2026 World Cup Impact
The 2026 World Cup is set to make history in Seattle, bringing an estimated $929 million in economic activity to King County and generating over $100 million in state and local tax revenue. This monumental event is expected to support more than 20,700 jobs and attract approximately 750,000 visitors to Seattle—nearly equal to the city’s population. With Seattle named one of the 16 host cities across North America, the World Cup promises to be six times larger than the Super Bowl.
To help our community prepare for this unprecedented opportunity, the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the City of Shoreline to host an informational meeting featuring the Seattle World Cup Local Organizing Committee (LOC). This event, happening on Tuesday, February 4th, is open to all businesses, community leaders, and individuals in Seattle and the north end. Whether you live, work, or own property in Shoreline, join us to explore how we can collectively prepare for and benefit from this global event. Learn more about the LOC's plans for preparing Seattle for this once-in-a-lifetime event and how the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce can become a central hub for planning and collaboration.
